As a founding member of Bratcher Adams and then BA Folk, Jeremy is excited about the firm’s growth and the chance to continue to provide great service to his clients.

Jeremy’s practice focuses on education cases, family law cases, and criminal cases.

Education Law

Jeremy takes on cases dealing with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).  He represents children and assists parents to advocate for students’ rights to receive an education.  This advocacy ranges from meetings with schools to litigating against the district to demand the services each student needs.

Family Law

In addition to assisting children receive a better education, Jeremy enjoys working in the area of family law.  Jeremy can work with you through your separation divorce, asset distribution, child custody dispute, or prenuptial agreement.

Criminal Law

Jeremy represents defendants at all levels in criminal court. Jeremy handles, among his many criminal cases, traffic tickets, DUIs, drug possession cases, assaults, thefts.

Outside the Firm

Outside of his work with the firm, Jeremy is dad, painter and writer. He also teaches legal writing for the evening law program at North Carolina Central University.
